Applying for a place

Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery)

Parents/Carers may register their child for a Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) place as soon as they are two years old. Please contact the school for details.

Children are usually admitted to this class for a minimum of three terms. We admit children to the Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) following their third Birthday, if places are available.

We offer 12 full time places for children who are 4 years old and/or who have special medical/social reasons and run two part time classes for 13 children in each. There is an option of a morning or an afternoon place.

All other admissions to the school have to be applied for via the Local Authority.

Foundation Stage 2 (Reception)

Please note if your child is in our Nursery it does not guarantee a place in our Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) class. An application form must be filled in and sent to the Borough – we will support parents/carers will this process.

•Application forms are available from November 2008

•These are for places in our Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) class for children to start in September 2009 and January 2010. (Depending on Birthday)

•Children whose date of birth fall between 1st September 2004 to 31st August 2005 need to fill in this form and return it to the Local Authority by 31st January 2009

For all other year groups (Y1 – Y6)

If your child is not on roll at a Greenwich school you need to fill in a ‘Primary School Application Form for In Year Admissions’ which is available from the school or the Local Authority.

If you would like a transfer from one Greenwich school to another for educational or other reasons, you must contact the Head Teacher of your child’s current school to discuss the matter. If you still want to transfer schools you need to contact the Councils Admissions Section and they will advise you of vacancies, and provide a transfer form.
