Home-School Agreements

We have a Home-School Agreement, which covers such issues as attendance, behaviour and homework. You will be asked to sign this when your child starts school.

Homework

We expect children in Years 1 & 2 to spend 1.5 hours, Years 3 & 4 to spend 2 hours and Years 5 & 6 to spend 2.5 hours each week on their homework. We believe that it is most helpful for the children to have homework "little and often". For the younger children, this will be mainly reading and number work, while for the older children there will be some additional project work.

For all classes, homework is set each Friday and should be returned the following Monday.
